Lost, strayed or stolen [collection] / music by Woolson Morse ; book by J. Cheever Goodwin. [1896?]

Arranged in two groups: I. Vocal scores (3). II. Promptbooks (4 in 8 vols.). Vocal scores are all manuscript and are arranged as conductor's scores which contain additional separately published numbers from the show bound in. One version (127 p.), of which there are two copies, presumably was prepared by Darcy and Wolford, New York; the other version contains 204 p., with 3 items inserted at the end (ms. 1st violin part, printed copy of song "Only a soldier boy", and ms. "Finale III" sketches). Three promptbooks are typescript mimeos identified as the property of A.W. Tams; one of these is bound in two volumes. The last promptbook is typed and bound in four volumes, each corresponding to one act. All material is in English.
